Cleanings & Prevention
Routine cleanings, exams, x-rays and home-care guidance — the preventive work that keeps small problems from becoming expensive ones.
Prevention is the least dramatic part of dentistry and the part that decides how the rest of it goes. A cleaning and exam every six months catches decay while it is still a filling rather than a crown, and gum disease while it is still reversible.
It also means that when something does go wrong, we already know what your mouth normally looks like — which makes the change obvious instead of ambiguous.
